Fundraising for the Cateran Yomp
The Cateran Yomp is a fantastic, active way of supporting ABF The Soldiers Charity and PSYBT, allowing you to experience a physical challenge in breathtaking Scottish scenery.
At The Soldiers’ Charity we currently help over 4,000 people annually, however recently we have seen a 30% year on year rise in applications for help. Getting involved can help us to make a huge difference to a soldiers’ life.
Fundraising can be just as tough and rewarding as the event itself however from the day you sign up we will be here to support you and provide you with everything you need to smash your targets.
Fundraising support
We have got loads of resources to get you started, including our fundraising pack (PDF), extra sponsorship forms (PDF) information on Gift Aid (PDF), fundraising guidelines (PDF) and example press releases (DOC). We can also send you resources such as sponsorship forms, collection tins, and posters and balloons for your fundraising events. If you need anything simply email or call us on 0845 504 6616.
Fundraise online
When you register for the event you are automatically created an online fundraising page. This is your page, add your picture, write some text about what you’re doing and why, set your fundraising target, then send the link out to your friends, family and colleagues so that they can sponsorship you easily and securely. Login here.
As well as allowing you to collect sponsorship from people you don’t see every day, all money donated via an online fundraising site is collected straight away and transferred to The Soldiers’ Charity so you don’t have to worry about collecting money in and sending it in.

The Alliance Trust Cateran Yomp is raising money to support ABF The Soldiers’ Charity, PSYBT and Alliance Trust Staff Foundation. All money raised will be split. Two thirds will go to ABF The Soldiers’ Charity and the remaining to PSYBT and the Alliance Trust Staff Foundation.
