Alliance Trust PLC was founded in 1888 and has grown to become the UK’s largest generalist investment trust. As at 31 July 2010, Alliance Trust managed assets of more than £2.9bn. Of the company’s net assets of £2.6bn, less than 1% was invested in its subsidiaries, which include Alliance Trust Savings and Alliance Trust Asset Management.

The Alliance Trust Cateran Yomp is raising money to support ABF The Soldiers’ Charity, PSYBT and Alliance Trust Staff Foundation. All money raised will be split. Two thirds will go to ABF The Soldiers’ Charity and the remaining to PSYBT and the Alliance Trust Staff Foundation.
