Ancestry.co.uk Frontline Walk

15 October 2014
Venue: Wellington Barracks, France, Belgium

ABF The Soldiers’ Charity is proud to announce the Ancestry.co.uk Frontline Walk. The walk is a groundbreaking and exciting project to commemorate the First World War centenary and raise funds for the Charity.

We are looking to recruit a walker for each of the regiments that fought in World War One. You could walk for your father or grandfathers regiment, or your home town regiment, and raise vital funds to ensure today’s soldiers, former soldiers and their families receive the support they need.

The walk will take place in October 15-19 this year and will encourage participants and the general public to discover more about the roles their ancestors played in the First World War and understand some of the sacrifices made by the heroes in their own family.

How to get involved

There is a £150 registration fee and we ask each of our walkers to raise a minimum of £1,600 in sponsorship.  Your minimum sponsorship will cover the costs of travel and accommodation.

Find out more about the route and sign up. Or call 02078113201.
