Support The Soldiers’ Charity. Make a difference

We are on the frontline of soldier welfare and respond quickly to requests for help and to cases where there is the greatest need.

Our commitment to the Army family is never-ending; we provide a lifetime of support to any soldier and their family, regardless of age, rank or when they served. Every week we hear of soldiers injured in Afghanistan. Demands on the Army are high, as are the needs of soldiers and their families The Soldiers’ Charity supports.

The figures over the last year speak for themselves; we have responded to a significant increase in requests for support:

• Individual cases are up by 12%
• Grants to individuals are up by 17%
• Current Operations cases up three-fold
• Grants to charities that support the wider Army family up by 50%

The need is continuous. Our troops in Afghanistan are due to return home by 2015 and we anticipate that many soldiers who have been deployed over the last 10 years will turn to us for help in the future and many veterans need our ongoing support.

In response to this growing need for support, we aim to raise £14 million a year by 2015 to ensure we can be there for each and every soldier and their family who turns to us in times of need.

We rely entirely on donations to fund our work. With your support, we can ensure that we continue to respond effectively to the long-term need and that no call for help goes unanswered now, and in the future.
