Every donation makes a positive change to someone’s life. If you are a UK taxpayer, you can Gift Aid your donation, and help even more – we can reclaim 28% tax on the amount you’ve given. If you’d like to do your bit, here’s how:

Simply call 0845 241 4828 (Mon-Fri 9am – 5pm) to make your donation by debit or credit card.
Donate direct from your pay
Payroll giving is simple and tax effective. It means that your money works harder, as youget tax relief at the top rate on your donation.
It also means a hassle free way of giving regularly once you have set-up the initial payment.
All you have to do is sign-up online.

You can give in this way if you pay tax on your pay or pension through PAYE and your employer is registered with the payroll giving scheme.
Give as you live
The Soldiers’ Charity is now part of the Give as you Live scheme for online shopping. The idea is that each time you shop online at one of the many participating outlets, such as John Lewis, a percentage of your final bill (between 1.5% – 6%) is donated directly to the charity by the shop. The stores donate, it costs you nothing.
This year a number of stores including John Lewis, Waterstones and Debenhams, have partnered Give as You Live. There are hundreds more including Apple Store, M&S, Currys, Comet, Cath Kidston, Boots, BHS, B&Q, ToysRus, Early Learning Centre, House of Fraser, Oasis Clothing, Monsoon, HMV, Halfords, Selfridges, I Want One of Those and Not on the High Street to name but a few.

Each time you go to buy from a shop that is registered with Give as You Live a small pop up window appears that says ‘shopping at B&Q will give 1.75% to World Child Cancer’, you have to tick yes and then continue shopping – the donation is then transferred – simple!

Give a gift in your Will
Leaving us a legacy in your will means passing on the gift of a better quality of life. Anyone over 18 can make a Will. You can bequeath a specific amount of money or what remains of your estate after you’ve looked after family and friends.
