Adnan Sarwar Royal Engineers
As a Lance Corporal in the Royal Engineers, Adnan served for close to eight years and saw two tours of Iraq.
When he left, and started trying to build a new career, his talent for film production and writing won early recognition.
He was shortlisted for the London Fringe Festival Fiction Awards and was accepted onto an MA course in Fiction Film Production.
However, his years of service meant he didn’t have the funds to cover the course fees. We were happy to help him take the next steps in his career.
