Phil Fanthome, Fundraiser Royal Regiment of Fusiliers

Phil Fanthome - case study

Phil was seriously injured in a grenade attack in Afghanistan which broke all the bones in the right side of his body and paralysed his right hand.

His own experience of the help he received recovering inspired him to become one of our most dauntless fundraisers.

He’s taken part in the London Marathon, UK Three Peaks 24 hour Challenge, the BUPA Great Yorkshire Run and Great Capital Run, the Brooks Brighton 10k run and the London Santa Run. Oh, and he’s done a Skydive.

Each extraordinary effort has brought in funds to help other soldiers.
