Army Recovery Capability Announced

ABF The Soldiers’ Charity will be working with The Army, The Royal British Legion and Help for Heroes in providing assistance to injured soldiers and their families.
We are committed to embedding a Grants Officer within HQ Land forces to advise and deliver individual benevolence quickly and effectively.

Armed Forces Compensation Scheme Review

The review of the Armed Forces Compensation scheme (AFCS ) was today announced.
The review was conducted under the independent Chairmanship of former Chief of the Defence Staff, Admiral the Lord Boyce. Lord Boyce was supported by a group of independent experts, including senior representatives of: ABF The Soldiers’ Charity, the Royal British Legion, the Confederation of British Service and ex-Service Organisations, as well as medical, legal and academic experts, and an injured soldier who has put in a claim for AFCS compensation.

The Army Benevolent Fund is reinventing itself as ABF The Soldiers’ Charity.
Building on a long and rich history of support, the charity is embarking on a new chapter that will ensure it is able to support soldiers whenever they need assistance both now and in the future.
