Bill Allan’s Trans-European-Challenge

On Saturday 29 May 2010 motorcycle enthusiast and ex-serviceman Bill Allan will ride over 6,000 miles from his home town of Croydon to the border of Iraq. This incredible journey will span 13 countries over 22 days, all with the aim of raising £50,000 in aid of ABF The Soldiers’ Charity.

Baking Hot Runners - Gobi challenge 2010

In June 2010 Nick Mackaness, Hugh Faith, James Lavers and Charles Dixey will be competing in the Gobi March – a gruelling, 155 mile, six day race through one of the most inhospitable places on the planet, and described by the Sunday Times as “one of the four toughest endurance races in the world”.

Lance Bombardier Ben Parkinson stands tall

A very determined Lance Bombardier Ben Parkinson has stood for the first time in four years after losing both legs in Afghanistan. He was so badly injured that doctors said he would never walk again.
ABF The Soldiers’ Charity were able to help by providing Ben with a home gym at which he trains for at least three hours a day.

Children at St George’s School raised a heroic £3000 with their Big Curry fundraiser in aid of ABF The Soldiers’ Charity with the help of the catering troop from 2 Royal Tank Regiment.

St George's Day festival raises £15000 for soldiers

Lytham St Annes St Georges Day Festival raised over four times more for charity this year than in 2009. More than £30000 will now be distributed among the three nominated charities, compared with £7000 last year.
