The Soldiers are big supporters of The Soldiers’ Charity, saying that it is a cause very close to their heart.
The Soldiers, Sergeant Major Gary Chilton, Staff Sergeant Richie Maddocks and Lance Corporal Ryan Idzi have made the history books as the first group of serving, British soldiers to have a hit album.
The busy lads are juggling the demands of fame with their duties at home and work. This hasn’t stopped them performing on national TV and radio – such as on Songs of Praise at the Royal Albert Hall and gracing the famous GMTV sofa.
The Soldiers Live available on DVD
After selling half a million copies of the album and performing in front of Her Majesty the Queen at the Royal Variety Show, in 2010 the inspiring trio make their DVD debut with a live recording of their hugely successful UK tour.
The Soldiers Live features the live recording of their concert in Southend in April this year, including a moving performance of the lead track from their hit album, ‘Coming Home’. The DVD – available in time for Christmas, also contains a behind-the-scenes feature, including interviews with the three Soldiers.
