By kind invitation of the Healey family, our next charity shoot will be held on the Warter Priory Estate, near Pocklington, East Yorkshire, on Thursday 7th June and Friday 8th June 2018. Proceeds from the event will be shared equally between ABF The Soldiers’ Charity and the Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust.
The shooting will follow the general formula used in previous ABF shoot days with regard to the variety, quantity and quality of shooting. The two days will be very similar in that each will involve up to 30 teams of guns competing for a range of valuable prizes. Each team will consist of 4 guns and 4 loaders and will shoot 6 stands, some of which will be altered between the 2 days. Each stand will be distinct with different degrees of challenge, interest and novelty. After the shooting there will be a Champagne reception in the central marquee followed by a 3 course lunch with wine and drinks, during which a raffle and auction will be held with spectacular prizes.
The cost of entry is £1800 per team per day, inclusive of VAT. This will allow all 8 members of the team to enjoy the full range of treats on offer. Additional non-shooting friends and guests would be most welcome at a charge of £70.00 each. The team and individual costs also cover bacon butties on arrival, coffee, finger eats and drinks during the day and, of course, the Champagne reception and lunch.
To apply for entry please complete the attached form by post or email. Places will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. If you are unable to attend but would like to support the event through a donation, please use the form for this. Thank you for your continuing support to ABF The Soldiers’ Charity and to the Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust.
