In May 2017, our North East Regional Office partnered with the Prince’s Trust to host a simulated game shoot at Bolton Estate, Wensleydale, North Yorkshire, courtesy of Lord Harry Bolton.

The event saw over fifty teams shoot across twelve demanding clay drives over two days this was followed by a champagne reception and three-course lunch.

The majority of the money was raised at the post-lunch auction where some fantastic prizes were on offer, including a driven grouse day for ten, kindly donated by Lord Bolton.

Soldiers from 6 Regiment RLC provided drivers for our fleet of loaned Toyota and Lexus team 4×4 vehicles and the Army flavour was further enhanced by the provision of an RWMIK Land Rover from the Queen’s Own Yeomanry.

ABF The Soldiers’ Charity would like to express their sincere thanks to Lord Bolton, the Prince’s Trust, our very generous event sponsors and all of the teams for making the event such a resounding success.
